Modern perm formulations and professional techniques minimize damage when applied by experienced stylists. A consultation assesses hair health; we recommend pre- and post-perm repair treatments, trimming damaged ends, and regular conditioning to reduce breakage and preserve strength and elasticity.
We recommend a consultation to determine timing. If you're lightening hair, it's often safer to color first and wait before perming, or perm first for certain processes. We'll assess porosity and recommend order plus safe waiting periods to protect hair integrity.
Use sulfate-free, curl-friendly shampoos and conditioners, avoid daily washing, and gently scrunch while damp. Air-dry or diffuse on low heat, avoid tight brushing, and apply lightweight leave-in conditioners. Follow salon aftercare instructions and schedule trims to maintain shape.
